The Azerbaijan National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum plans to hold an international conference called "Cooperation for regional stability and development" in November 2022. Shahla Ismayil, coordinator of the Azerbaijani National Platform, says that government representatives, representatives of international organizations operating in the country, and Azerbaijan Civil Society Institutes will be participating in the conference.
Negotiations are already underway with the relevant structures on behalf of the National Platform of Azerbaijan.
During the conference, the first panel will discuss the role of civil society in EU-Azerbaijan relations. The second panel is planned to launch a discussion on the influence of geopolitical processes in the region of Azerbaijan. Government representatives, representatives of international organizations operating in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Civil Society Organizations, and Think Tanks will speak in both panels.
One of the main expectations from the conference is to achieve the strengthening of joint cooperation between the government of Azerbaijan, the European Union and the Institutes of Civil Society of Azerbaijan. Also, the challenges and prospects in the field of regional stability and cooperation will be discussed with the participation of all three parties.
Another expectation from the conference is to achieve elimination of problems through the discussion of the current situation of Azerbaijan Civil Society Institutes.
